Co-Founder Emeritus
Jorge H. Chavez
Jorge was the Co-Founder of IDEUM and the inventor of the methodologies, algorithms and statistical models that are included in RastONE™, RastPRO™, RastADV™ and the Escattergrama™.
Prior to IDEUM he founded the consultancy and technology firms IBL (International Business Logistics) Europe, JHC Consulting South America and Logistema Technologies Chile.
Jorge also served as a Professor for MBA programs at Adolfo Ibañez University in Chile, Pontificia Universidad Catolica University in Chile and Vaxjo University in Sweden. Professor Chavez was one of the most recognized supply chain experts in Latin America and the author of several books and articles including the book “Supply chain management” by RIL editors.
After several years of fighting an illness, he passed away in 2023. His vision and spirit is present in all of us at IDEUM and we work every day to perpetuate his legacy.
